•May 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

She’s never been bashful when it comes to showing off her curves, and in a new GQ photo spread, Miss Kardashian steams it up with her hunky boyfriend Reggie Bush.

In one shot, the “Disaster Movie” starlet poses on her man’s back while he does pushups, while in another pic they pose together against an Audi sportscar.

Of the experience, Kim blogged, “We were super excited for this shoot, but also a bit nervous. We had never done a shoot together and didn’t know what to expect!”

Continuing to rave about the photo session, she wrote, “It turned out super hot and we love it. We did the shoot at an amazing mansion in Los Angeles.”

Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Doutzen Kroes gets completely naked in V-Man #13 Magazine, which I’ve never heard of before but clearly merits your annual subscription.

See, it’s numbered like a comic book (score), and it’s filled with pictures of completely na*ed unattainable women.

Madonna’s Steamy Photo Shoot

She’s been gallivanting around the world with her new boy toy Jesus Luz, and the upcoming issue of W magazine has Madonna’s steamy photo shoot with the Brazilian stud (where they initially met).

The 46-page spread depicts the 50-year-old music icon and the 22-year-old hunky model hitting it off quite well at the hotel room setting, making out on a bed, and posing in some pretty spicy shots.

In one picture, Madge is dressed in a 1950s-style black and white dress while Luz is stark n*ked, covering himself with a white hotel sheet. In another, they are laying together in bed.

According to a report, the December photo shoot was what catalyzed their relationship, and Madonna even took Jesus on her Sticky and Sweet Tour as she traveled throughout South America.

Though Madonna seems enamored, ex-husband Guy Ritchie isn’t quite as excited about the whole ordeal. A friend told press, “Guy doesn’t think highly of Jesus since he is convinced this is a casual fling and is not thrilled this is happening so soon after the divorce. He’s definitely got reservations about the fact Jesus has already met the children.

Kim Kardashian Apologizes for ‘Insensitive’ Chimp Pictures

•May 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has issued an apology for posting “insensitive” pictures of her family posing with their new pet chimpanzee in the same week a woman was brutally mauled by a crazed ape.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posed with her mother, Kris, sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and 3-year-old chimp Suzy for the snap, which was posted on her Web site on Friday.

The siblings rented the chimp for a week as a prank on their mom, but their laughs were short lived when critics lashed out at Kim, who posted the snaps days after a 14-year-old, 200-pound chimp left 55-year-old Connecticut woman Charla Nash near dead on February 16.

Kardashian says, “I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me. What happened to the woman that was attacked by the chimpanzee was devastating. In no way did I mean to insult or offend anyone by posting these pictures.”

Nash remains in critical but stable condition in a Cleveland, Ohio, clinic.

The incident prompted Washington lawmakers to pass a bill on Tuesday banning the sale of chimps, gorillas, monkeys and orangutans across state lines.

Justene Jaro-IGN Babes Interview

•May 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

As the year continues, we at IGN Babes are dedicated to track down all of the Miss Hot Import Nights . First it was with the lovely Amanda Gift, then the exotic Michelle Zen. Now we are proud to bring you Miss Boston Hot Import Nights straight from the ATL–Justene Jaro. We warn you she has somewhat of a trucker mouth on her

IGN Babes: What’s crack-in girl?

Justene: Hey!

IGN Babes: Where were you born?

Justene: Tacloban, Philippines.

IGN Babes: What is your ethnicity?

Justene: Half Filipina and half Puerto Rican.

IGN Babes: Where do you call home?

Justene: Atlanta, Georgia!

IGN Babes: What do you like most about living in the ATL?

Justene: The southern hospitality, good food, and amazing music!

IGN Babes: Any plans on moving out here in the West Coast?

Justene: HELL NO! It’s cool there, but it’s not my vibe.

IGN Babes: You have any nicknames?

Justene: Ting, I been called that all my life.

IGN Babes: What made you want to become a model?

Justene: I’m a model?! [laughs]

IGN Babes: How did you get into modeling?

Justene: PURE LUCK! Ok…so team hybrid sent my sister and I to do a show in LA and that was cool. When I was there I was tapped on the shoulder and Derrick from D-sport asked, “Hey, wanna be on a cover of a magazine?” I was like “f*** yeah” but I wasn’t sure if it was real. Come to find out it was… D-sport magazine is awesome! Then it all snowballed. It’s pretty damn dope, if I don’t say so myself.

IGN Babes: What events and or projects are you going to be working on soon?

Justene: Umm, whatever is given to me – I’m no picky bitch.

IGN Babes: Is modeling your full-time gig, or do you have a “day job”?

Justene: NOOO modeling is most definitely NOT my full time job – I be BROKE. [laughing]. Yes I have another job…yes, yes I do!

IGN Babes: What is your ultimate career goal in life?

Justene: I really reaaally wanna win the lottery.

IGN Babes: What’s the meaning of life? [laughs]

Justene: Finding the ultimate high. Yeah! [laughing]

IGN Babes: What’s this thing I hear about you being a feminist?! True? Personally some feminist women scare me!

Justene: Yeah, I am! I was raised that way. I was always taught that women should be feminine, beautiful, graceful, and all that jazz but yet be able to whoop some ass and take over businesses. Just to be a snake in the grass – you could say. YES, it is scary but that’s the point. I’d say men don’t have the advantages women do and so since we do we have to utilize every aspect of the game. P-U-S-S-Y is power. [laughs]

IGN Babes: Here at IGN we are all about videogame. We have to ask: are you into videogames at all?

Justene: I have bad hand-eye coordination but yeah. I’m kinda obsessed with Call of Duty.

IGN Babes: If so, do you have a favorite game?

Justene: [laughs] Why yes! Call of Duty or maybe Super Mario Brothers. [laughs]. I don’t know.

IGN Babes: So you single or what?

Justene: So single!

IGN Babes: How would you describe your perfect mate?

Justene: Artistic, strong willed and independent. Uhhh..I don’t know. The minute I say one thing, I’ll end up with the complete opposite. Should I just say I’m looking for losers so I can come out with a winner?

IGN Babes: Turn-Ons?

Justene: Independent and intelligent.

IGN Babes: Turn-Offs?

Justene: Dumbasses and animal-non-lovers.

IGN Babes: What was the worst date you ever been on?

Justene: I think every woman in the world had THAT GUY that doesn’t take no as an answer. That’s damn well the worst date scenario.

IGN Babes: Day-person or Night-Person?

Justene: Day during the summer. Night during the winter.

IGN Babes: Favorite drink? Bring on the Coke and JD! [smiling]

Justene: Oh buddy, you answered…Jack Daniels is my boyfriend, you didn’t know? Jack and Coke or Long Islands if I want a sweet drink.

IGN Babes: What’s the first thing you think of when you get up in the morning?

Justene: I gotta pee.

IGN Babes: What do you do with your free time?

Justene: Freakin Myspace it up like a super dweeb.

IGN Babes: What is one thing you want people to know about you?

Justene: Don’t you know I’m loco?! [laughs]

IGN Babes: It’s your turn now to plug and give shout outs to anyone\anything out there!

Justene: PETA… It feels good to donate…so f****** do it already! Otherwise I’ll just rob you and send it to them myself!

IGN Babes: Any closing thoughts?

Justene: Yabbaa dabba dooooooo!

Catherine Bell JAG to The Good Witch

•May 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Exclusive interview!
Joel D Amos

Catherine Bell gives us the scoop on her Hallmark Channel original movie The Good Witch’s Garden, airing February 13 on the cable network. The former JAG star and current cast member of Army Wives says she is simply following a dream.

Catherine Bell in The Good Witch’s GardenCatherine Bell is widely known to audiences for two military-themed shows, both enormous hits.

First, Bell played Lt. Colonel Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie from 1996-2005 opposite James David Elliot on the CBS hit JAG. Then Bell segwayed into showcasing the families that support our military on Army Wives.

The actress began her career with small roles on HBO’s Dream On and Friends. While modeling, Bell caught JAG casting director’s eye as a person who could inhabit the beautiful, smart and tough military attorney they required.

Having starred in both JAG and Army Wives, Bell stresses to SheKnows the importance of having strong military characters on the entertainment landscape. The charming actress also tells us what inspired her to begin the tough journey from unknown performer to successful actress.

Bell chimes
SheKnows: For you personally is there a first memory of acting or anything or something you saw that it clicked and you had to be a part of the entertainment business?

Catherine Bell: I grew up around the business in LA. I did modeling, and I always thought it would be cool to be an actress. I didn’t ever think I could actually do it. I remember seeing the Wizard of Oz and watching her and hearing her sing and how magical that whole experience was – I thought it would incredibly cool to take someone on an adventure like that.

SheKnows: It’s such a career that takes incredible commitment. I always wonder where that genesis arises.

Catherine Bell: It was all out of an effort to better express myself. To express characters that are so different than me and what it means to entertain people and inspire and encourage them during an emotional ride for an hour.

There’s something in Catherine’s garden
Witchy woman
SheKnows: What first drew you the idea of playing Cassandra Nightingale? Is it that she is a witch?

Catherine Bell: I read the script and fell in love. She’s lovable fun playful passion about life kind of person. That seemed like something fun to do.

SheKnows: And the element of playing a witch had to be appealing to toss into that formula as well.

Catherine Bell: Absolutely, is she a witch? Isn’t she? It’s kind of mysterious, there’s definitely some powers that most of us don’t have.

SheKnows: Also to be part of a television movie that’s getting a sequel, and from the early Buzz, it sounds like you could revisit this character again, is it something you thought when you first tackled Cassandra that it would be something you’d revisit?

Catherine Bell: I think when I first read it, it didn’t think about it. But, once we shot it and it went really, really well, everybody had great chemistry. It was a little open-ended, the end of it. It was like, ‘oh, there could be more here.’ I’m thrilled that people like it and I’m thrilled to do another one and it would be great to couple of these a year. A little series of movies it would be fun.

SheKnows: Movies like that are working out really well for Noah Wyle and The Librarian. Just keep doing them!

Catherine Bell in CBS’ JAGCatherine Bell: Yeah, exactly. It’s a character people know and a few times a year they get to go on another adventure with her, it’s cool.

SheKnows: A part of that appeal in this movie and that character is honestly the work that you’ve done over the years and the fan base you’ve built for work that you bring. Is there a common thread to the characters you’ve played? Or is it that each project is unique and you feel lucky and keep doing it?

Catherine Bell: (laughs) I feel very fortunate to have the career I have, to get these wonderful roles. All very different, some strong and tense – kickboxing one minute – weak, sometimes they’re comedy like Bruce Almighty. This, is a romantic comedy, really light family movie with a heart. I love it. I’m enjoying every bit of my career.

SheKnows: You mentioned Bruce Almighty and you played Miss Ortega and the way you pronounced her name is become comically iconic. Was the pronunciation of that name written in the script or did you bring that comic gem?

Catherine Bell: That was something I did on the audition and they loved it and kept it in. You know being in LA, the ones with the Hispanic last names don’t sound Hispanic at all until they say their last name (laughs).

{healdine}Catherine Bell, reporting for duty{/headline}SheKnows: Whether it’s playing a part of a military family on Army Wives or a strong military character like on JAG, the importance of that on the entertainment landscape?

Catherine Bell: It’s kind of a funny coincidence that I’ve been on shows that are military. The shows are so different. JAG was a fun; action packed – a little Few Good Men, a little Top Gun – adventure. Army Wives is so much more about families and relationships and life — the ups and downs. But again, as you said, both are so important. Presenting our military as the strong and passionate people that they are and now the families who support them who are equally strong in what they do. I feel very fortunate to be able to represent these guys.

SheKnows: I’ve covered the military a lot, and I can tell you that your performance in both those shows deeply resonates.

Catherine Bell: Definitely – I hear that from them a lot. It makes it really special.
